Hello, I'm Patti.

At the beginning of my career, I struggled with knowing what to do in my Literacy Program. It was the summer of 2014 when I was preparing for a difficult class of uninspired and disengaged readers and writers.  I knew I needed a solution that would work for them and work for me.  As a parent with two young kids at home, I knew I needed a plan.  I didn't know it then, but that was the beginning of Ignited Literacy.  

Over the next 8 years, Ignited Literacy has grown into a full-year comprehensive literacy program for students in grades 3-6.  

Ignited Literacy is proud to have supported 700 teachers in classrooms across Ontario.
